Yamamoto Sound Craft's new line of preamplifiers are built around the Telefunken 6AK5W, a remarkable-sounding but little-known vacuum tube that was widely used during World War II for radar and other high-frequency applications. Each preamplifier is 100% hand-crafted, and premium parts are used throughout, including Dale resistors and Yamamoto's own highly-regarded Teflon tube sockets. These units offer incredible transparency and resolution, and receive our highest recommendation!
